DON J. PAPINEAU, SRA, owner and head appraiser, has 36 years of full-time appraisal experience. He is an Illinois State Certified appraiser and is on the HUD/FHA and VA rosters of approved appraisers. Don is a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and, since 1975, holds the SRA designation that is given only to those appraisers who successfully complete extensive real estate appraisal training, experience and peer review. To retain this designation a continuous cycle of education, including a comprehensive series of courses sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, plus attendance at a number of short courses, conferences, seminars and educational meetings is mandatory. Don is active with the Three Rivers Association of Realtors where he is a member of the appraisal committee. He is often asked to share his knowledge with groups of Realtors and lenders, and he has appeared as an expert witness in the Will County Court for matters of real estate. Don holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Sioux Falls College.

JAMES G. SOLL joined Papineau & Associates in 1991, but has been actively engaged as a real estate appraiser since 1981.  Jim was previously associated with two Joliet area appraisal firms.  He is an Illinois State Certified appraiser and is on the HUD/FHA roster of approved appraisers.  A Bachelor of Liberal Arts was awarded to Jim from the University of Iowa.

BRUCE R. WITTMAN has been appraising for Papineau & Associates since 1999 and is on the HUD/FHA and VA rosters of approved appraisers.He is an Illinois State Certified Real Estate Appraiser. COURTNEY A. WALTON was a real estate sales associate before joining our appraisal staff in May of 2002. She is an Illinois State Certified Real Estate Appraiser and a graduate from the University of Illinois with a Bachelors Degree in Speech Communications.
